That means a hell of a lot coming from you, PF. Thanks a bunch, man. I'm still waiting on some more shots from you of the upper Green River!

No problem, it's well deserved! Cascade Canyon is one of my favorite places and I've never seen it look so good as it does here. I'll see if I have anything else from the Green River, but I have to admit that trip was pretty unproductive photographically.

This may be your best or at least one of them. The comp is perfect and that light is to die for. The only thing I wish this image had was a bit more sky. I think you could crop some of the bottom as well, but that is just personal preference. This is really great.

I'm awfully proud of this one. Been wanting to shoot Cascade Canyon in that kind of light for a really long time. Everything worked out. On the composition - everything is just too big in Cascade Canyon. I focused more on the foreground than the sky because there just wasn't any drama there. The sky was absolutely clear all four days along the crest of the range. Couldn't have asked for better hiking weather, however, photography weather...not so much. The color on the peak came from thick wildfire smoke in the air. Thanks for the kind words and the advice, htd, you always give some of the best!

This is a place I will definitely put on my list. With some crazy skies and maybe a wider lens (or even do a pano) you could have one wicked shot, but that is asking for too much isn't it haha.
