United States
Wyoming native, civil engineer, landscape photographer.

I originally started photography to document the amazing places I have visited in my great state of Wyoming. Landscape photography quickly bloomed into a passion. I may live in Laramie, but my heart and mind are always in the Bighorn Mountains or the Wind River Range.

You have some extraordinary images. I just wish you had left the EXIF data on the tags. That information makes wonderful photographers like yourself not only artists but teachers and I often feel I need all the help I can get. Great gallery.

I was fortunate to stumble upon one of your beautiful deviations this morning and just had to stop by to say what I'm sure thousands have already said to you...

how wonderful your work and your gallery is. :worship:

I apologize for my comments regarding your  home state. Anyone who knows me online, or offline, would tell you, an apology is a rare thing from me.

We were in the process of moving, from Colorado Springs, Colorado, to Portland, Oregon, and we had to take a route that basically went along the bottom of your state. There were a couple of amazing vistas and pretty much devolved into what appeared to be a wasteland.

I think part of what prompted my initial assessment of Wyoming was that the part I saw [short-sighted, I admit], reminds me, to an uncanny degree, of my home state of Texas. Lots of nothing, for miles and miles. Depressing. Lusterless. You get the point.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that I am sorry, and  hope that I have not offended you too much. Your photos of the rest of Wyoming are breathtaking, and I wish you all the best in your photographic work!

I also wanted to post this publicly, rather than in a note, because that is who I am.

I still have a low opinion of the southern strip of that state, but I realize now, looking through your works, that I missed the bounty, farther up north of my then-location. I am a  moron. lol.

As always, you're doing beautiful work Wy!  Thanks for the fave-- I wonder if we'll realize it the day we pass each other on the trail-- or maybe we already have.
